Frequently asked questions
The questions people ask before subscribing, answered against what the service actually does rather than what it could be made to do.
1. Can the same shift ever be called twice?
No. Each reminder is claimed atomically before it's dialed, so overlapping schedulers can't place the same call twice.
2. What happens if the call reaches voicemail?
We leave a message stating the reminder and noting the shift is still unconfirmed — it never claims an arrival that hasn't happened. Five minutes later, we try again. Only after both attempts fail does anything get flagged to your dashboard.
3. What can ClockAide not do?
It confirms a phone was answered at the right time and place. It doesn't track location or listen in during the shift.
4. Can other organizations ever see our records?
No. Call logs and confirmation records belong to your account and nobody else's — not other agencies on ClockAide, not us for any purpose beyond running the service, and not any third party unless you choose to export and share them yourself.
5. What do you hold about our clients?
Nothing. No client names or details are ever stored — only the staff schedule and the call record.
6. Which numbers do you call?
The number already on file for each staff member — the same phone they already carry to work.
